Amber Tamblyn goes to Tokyo and falls prey to the same evil force that took hold of her sister (Sarah Michelle Gellar) in the sequel to the 2004 horror hit, The Grudge. The supernatural force, which fills a person with rage before spreading to its next victim, brings together a group of previously unrelated people who attempt to unlock its secret in order to save their lives.
