Sony Pictures will celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Steven Spielberg’s classic sci-fi epic Close Encounters of the Third Kind by re-releasing the film in theaters on September 1st, 2017, remastered in 4K.
After an encounter with U.F.O.s, a line worker feels undeniably drawn to an isolated area in the wilderness where something spectacular is about to happen. Close Encounters of the Third Kind stars Richard Dreyfuss, Teri Garr, Melinda Dillon and Francois Truffaut.
