This is the “thrilla dilla” of horror events, as far as I’m concerned. Cult Cinema Icons Roger Corman, Malcolm McDowell, George A. Romero, Tony Todd, John Waters, Jeffrey Combs, Ken Foree and Dee Wallace; plus film screenings at The Palms Hotel Casino, which sports Ghost Bar; located just across from The Rio, with their incredible rooftop bar The Voodoo Lounge. Where else will you find an IMAX screen in the middle of a casino.

Fangoria Entertainment, publisher of Fangoria Magazine, just announced the Fangoria Trinity of Terrors – a brand new multimedia horror event presented in association with 5B Artist Management and sponsored by Hot Topic, Vegas.com and Coffin Case. The extravaganza fittingly takes place on Halloween weekend, kicking off on Friday, October 30th and running through Sunday evening, November 1st at the Palms Casino Resort, home of Las Vegas’ premier musical venue, the Pearl Concert Theater.

This event will feature celebrity appearances, autograph signings, film screenings, vendors, exhibitors, panel discussions, special FX make-up applications, gaming, tattooing, collectibles, VIP parties and much more. This is simply fanboy heaven folks.

Everything builds up to a special Halloween night performance in the Pearl Concert Theater by multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning alternative metal masters, Slipknot.

Guests appearing at the weekend-long event include such cult icons as Roger Corman (Death Race 2000, The Pit And The Pendulum), Malcolm Mcdowell (A Clockwork Orange, Rob Zombie’s Halloween), Ken Foree (Dawn Of The Dead, The Devil’s Rejects), George A. Romero (Night/Dawn/Day Of The Dead), John Waters (Pink Flamingos, Seed Of Chucky), Jeffrey Combs (Re-Animator, The Frighteners), Tony Todd (Candyman, The Crow), Dee Wallace (The Howling, Cujo) and many many more.

As to the panel discussions and film screenings, this isn’t your typical convention “panel room viewings”, as all film screenings will be presented in the Brenden Theatres, featuring state-of-the-art projection and sound inside of 14 screens, including an IMAX 3D-outfitted auditorium. They are home to the renowned CineVegas Film Festival.

Over a dozen new films will be screened, including Ti West’s latest terrifying The House of the Devil, the critically acclaimed documentary Nightmares in Red, White and Blue and Dark House starring Jeffrey Combs.

Tickets are available online at the event’s official website www.trinityofterrors.com and through Vegas.com.
