New clip from Michael Moore’s Capitalism: A Love Story now online

Capitalism: A Love Story, Michael Moore’s new documentary that aims to tear Wall Street a new a**hole, will be in theaters this Friday, October 2nd. The documentary explores the root causes of the global economic meltdown and takes a comical look at the corporate and political shenanigans that culminated in what Moore described as “the biggest robbery in the history of this country” – the massive transfer of U.S. taxpayer money to private financial institutions.

The hilarious new clip finds Moore trying to find out what the hell a “derivative” and a “credit default swap” is… and he’s asking everyone from a Harvard Economics Professor to a former V.P. of Lehman Brothers. You’d think that these folks would be able to explain complex financial terms right? Well, watch the clip and decide for yourself.

Moore has made three of the top six highest-grossing documentaries of all time including Cannes Palme d’Or winner Fahrenheit 9/11, 2008 Academy Award nominee Sicko, and Bowling for Columbine, the Academy Award winner for Best Documentary in 2003. His debut film was 1989’s groundbreaking Roger and Me.
