According to THR, Maggie Grace – who played Liam Neeson’s kidnapped daughter in Taken – is in talks to join Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz in Fox’s untitled spy thriller directed by James Mangold (Walk the Line).

The film centers on a lonely woman (Diaz) whose seemingly harmless blind date suddenly turns her life upside-down when a super spy (Cruise) takes her on a violent worldwide journey to protect a powerful battery that holds the key to an infinite power source. Grace would play Diaz’s sister, who’s getting married.

According to the report, Grace recently wrapped playing the female lead opposite Adrien Brody and Forest Whitaker in Sony’s The Experiment (we posted an interview with Clifton Collins Jr. from that film earlier today HERE) and is shooting an indie film called Flying Lessons, which is being executive produced by Mark Johnson.

The Cruise/Diaz spy film will shoot this October in Boston.
