New York Comic Con announced that FOX TV’s Fringe will come to its 2009 event, lead by executive producer Jeff Pinkner and cast members Anna Torv (who plays Olivia Dunham), John Noble (who plays Dr. Walter Bishop), Lance Reddick (Phillip Broyles), Kirk Acevedo (who plays Charlie Francis), Blair Brown (who plays Nina Sharp) and Jasika Nicole (who plays Astrid Farnsworth). Fringe will make its New York Comic Con debut with an event featuring a Q&A with cast and producers, and an exclusive video presentation created specifically for the NYCC audience. This will take place at 1:45 PM in Room 1A08-12 on February 8th in the Jacob Javits Center. Additional members of the cast and crew participating in the event will be announced soon. The appearances are in partnership with the New York Television Festival.

A critically acclaimed thriller, Fringe centers on an unlikely trio uncovering a mystery involving a series of unbelievable events and delves beneath the surface as the threat of a larger, more disturbing pattern blurs the line between the possible and the impossible. Fringe, from J.J. Abrams (Lost), Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci – the team behind Star Trek, Mission: Impossible III and Alias – and fellow executive producers Jeff Pinkner (Lost, Alias) and Bryan Burk (Lost, Alias), airs Tuesdays at 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT on FOX. The series, from Bad Robot Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, is shot in New York City.
