50 Cent is out and Terry Crews is now in Sly Stallone’s war flick Expendables

AICN, which has a direct dialogue going with Sly Stallone regarding his upcoming action flick, The Expendables, has been updating the casting of the roles Agent Will Sands and Hale Caesar.

Oscar-winner Forest Whitaker was attached to the film, but a push in the schedule forced him to withdraw. Apparently Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, had stepped into the role, but, according to Sly himself, former San Diego Charger-turned-actor Terry Crews, is now on officially on board the film.

The Expendables will be in theaters on April 23, 2010. Stallone is writing and directing the film, which also stars legendary action icons Mickey Rourke, Jason Statham, Stallone himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger (I’m not sure if he is still confirmed), Jet Li, Eric Roberts, Dolph Lundgren, Danny Trejo along with Charisma Carpenter, Steve Austin, David Zayas, Randy Couture and Liam Hemsworth.
