From the creator of Training Day comes another violent ride through the streets of Los Angeles, called Harsh Times. In Harsh Times, Christian Bale plays an ex-Army Ranger who finds himself slipping back into his old life of petty crime after a job offer from the LAPD evaporates.
David Ayer, who wrote Training Day, Dark Blue and S.W.A.T., is handling writing and directing duties on Harsh Times, which also stars Freddy Rodriguezand Eva Longoria. It will be in theaters on August 18, 2006.
Other projects for David Ayer include a remake of The Wild Bunch, which focuses on drug cartels and CIA activites in modern day Mexico.
