Tribeca Film Festival going on a virtual tour

The 2010 Tribeca Film Festival begins on April 21st and runs through May 2nd. Tickets go on sale to American Express cardmembers on April 13th, to downtown New York City residents on April 18th, and to the general public on April 19th.

If you are not in NYC, Tribeca Film Festival has two new ways for people across the U.S. to participate in the event—either online or On Demand via their cable providers.

For the first time ever, people who love movies can come to the Tribeca Film Festival—with an internet connection and a $45 Tribeca Film Festival Virtual Premium pass. From April 23rd through the 30th, Tribeca Film Festival Virtual Premium Passholders can watch 8 full-length 2010 TFF films, 18 2010 TFF short films, conversations with filmmakers and actors, live panels, Q&As, and red carpet action as they happen and on-demand, all on a brand new high-definition video player.

In addition, cable customers across the country can watch Tribeca Film Festival movies in their living rooms, via Tribeca Film. Starting on April 21st, sixteen titles will be available On-Demand via a variety of cable providers, including 7 films from this year’s Tribeca Film Festival.
