Jerry Bruckheimer has nabbed feature film rights to the IDW graphic novel World War Robot, according to Variety.
The original story was written and illustrated by Ashley Wood, and recounted in war-diary form by participants on both sides, follows a small band of humans and robots facing off in a battle on Earth, the moon and Mars.
Ten year old IDW is home to 30 Days of Night, Popbot and Dark Days, along with licensed titles including 24, Angel, Terminator, Star Trek, CSI and the Transformers.
