New TV spot for Marvel’s Doctor Strange reveals more plot points


From Marvel comes Doctor Strange, the story of world-­famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange whose life changes forever after a horrific car accident robs him of the use of his hands. When traditional medicine fails him, he is forced to look for healing, and hope, in an unlikely place — a mysterious enclave known as Kamar-­Taj. Scott Derrickson directs Marvel’s Doctor Strange from a script he co-wrote with C. Robert Cargill and Jon Spaihts, based on Steve Ditko’s comic book series. The film stars Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer, Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange, Mads Mikkelsen as Kaecilius, Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One, Scott Adkins, Benedict Wong, Amy Landecker, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Karl Mordo, Michael Stuhlbarg as Nicodemus West, Benjamin Bratt, Juani Feliz, Zara Phythian, Shina Shihoko Nagai, Kobna Holdbrook-Smith, Alaa Safi, Ruolan Zhang, Dante Briggins and Bern Collaco.
