Batman v. Superman Ultimate Edition trailer unveils new scenes and previously unclear story lines

Warner Bros. has revealed an official trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition, the home entertainment release that hits Digital HD on June 28th and Blu-Ray on July 19th. In it, fans will see Jena Malone’s character from the movie, which ended up on the cutting room floor in the theatrical release, along with more scenes with Amy Adams’ Lois Lane character.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, in all there’s an additional 30 minutes being adding back into Zack Snyder’s DC superhero movie, which was already two hours and 33 minutes long. The home entertainment release will also be R-rated.

The story line takes an interesting turn in this version, with Lois Lane investigating the events of the opening of the film, which saw Superman framed for the murder of terrorists in the Middle East, along with massive citywide destruction.
