In anticipation of the release of her film Winter’s Bone, star Jennifer Lawrence recently did a photo shoot for Esquire Men’s Magazine. A behind-the-scenes video from the shoot has been released, and we have it right here.

Winter’s Bone, an official selection of the 2010 Sundance Film Festival’s Dramatic Competition, was the recipient of the Grand Jury Prize: Dramatic and the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award.

Winter’s Bone centers on 17 year-old Ree Dolly (Jennifer Lawrence), who sets out to track down her father, who has put their house up for his bail bond and then disappeared. If she fails, Ree and her family will be turned out into the Ozark woods. Challenging her outlaw kin’s code of silence and risking her life, Ree hacks through the lies, evasions and threats offered up by her relatives and begins to piece together the truth.

Based on the novel by Daniel Woodrell, Winter’s Bone is directed by Debra Granik (Down to the Bone) and was adapted for the screen by Granik and Anne Rosellini. The film stars Jennifer Lawrence, John Hawkes, Kevin Breznahan, Dale Dickey, Garret Dillahunt, Sheryl Lee and Tate Taylor. It was filmed entirely on location in the Ozarks of Southwestern Missouri using the Red Camera Digital HD System.

Roadside Attractions will open the film June 11, 2010.
