Two new Alien prequels coming to theaters and at least one will be in 3D according to Ridley Scott

While at a press junket for his upcoming Robin Hood origin epic, Collider asked director Ridley Scott whether the upcoming Alien prequel would be shot in 3D, to which the iconic director answered “Absolutely.” According to the report, Scott is actively trying to figure out how to make 3D work for the currently developing film.

The other big news from the interview is that Ridley Scott confirmed that he’s developing two additional Alien prequel films. When asked if he was going to shoot both films together, he responded, “at the moment I’m just trying to get the first one out.”
