A new action-filled trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender, has been posted at Apple trailers.

In M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender, Air, Water, Earth, Fire are four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. After a century passes with no hope in sight to change the path of destruction, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war—torn world. Based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series, the live—action feature film The Last Airbender is the opening chapter in Aang’s struggle to survive.

M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender hits theaters on July 2nd, 2010.

In a related story, Ain’t It Cool has learned that The Last Airbender will also be getting the 3D treatment (hopefully with better results than The Clash of the Titans). According to reports, Shyamalan has apparently been considering the idea for months and, after being convinced by recent 3D tests, has thrown his support behind the process.
