Trailer for Nicolas Cage’s creature thriller Season of the Witch

Lionsgate has released the first trailer for Nicolas Cage’s werewolves and witches period flick Season of the Witch, which is due in theaters on March 19, 2010.

Season of the Witch centers on 14th-century knights in the process of transporting a suspected witch to a monastery, where monks deduce her powers could be the source of the Black Plague.

Dominic Sena, who directed Cage in the Gone in Sixty Seconds remake in 2000, as well as steering Kalifornia, Swordfish and Whiteout, helms Season of the Witch, which also stars Ron Perlman, Stephen Campbell Moore, Robert Sheehan, Claire Foy, Ulrich Thomsen, Stephen Graham, Christopher Lee, Matt Devere and Peter Linka.
