Last House on the Left director gets a Cure

The Last House on the Left director Dennis Iliadis has signed on to direct the thriller Cure later this summer, according to Variety.

Cure centers on a young man who enters his wife in an experimental treatment program to save her from a terminal illness. While she returns completely cured, she’s suddenly infected with something terrifying. The script was penned by Beau Michael Thorne who wrote the Max Payne adaptation.

Vertigo Entertainment’s Doug Davison and Roy Lee (The Strangers) are producing Cure, along with Brian Witten (who produced the Friday the 13th remake) and Michael Connolly.
