Pontypool gives a new spin to the zombie genre – along with a new trailer

Below is the trailer for Pontypool, a psychological thriller about a deadly virus that infects a small Ontario town, and a small radio station whose morning team starts taking reports of extreme, bloody incidents of violence related to the infections. Bruce McDonald (The Tracey Fragments) directs Pontypool, which stars Stephen McHattie, Lisa Houle and Georgina Reilly.

IFC Films will release Pontypool in the U.S. on May 29, 2009.
