Turistas Clips + Info On Hills Have Eyes 2, 28 Weeks Later and More

After a terrifying bus accident maroons a diverse group of young adventure travelers in a remote Brazilian beach town, they slowly discover that the white sand beaches and lush jungles are concealing a darker, unsettling secret. Turistas stars Josh Duhamel (NBC’s Las Vegas) and Melissa George (The Amityville Horror) and is directed by John Stockwell (Blue Crush).

Turistas splashes into theaters on December 1, 2006.

Turistas is one of the first releases from Fox Atomic, the new genre studio from 20th Century Fox. Fox Atomic will also be releasing comics, including 28 Days Later: The Aftermath, which bridges the gap between the original film and it’s upcoming sequel 28 Weeks Later.

Other upcoming releases from Fox Atomic include 28 Weeks Later, The Hills Have Eyes II and Revenge of the Nerds.

28 Weeks Later: Due in May 2007
28 Weeks Later starts seven months after the Rage virus has spread throughout the city of London. The U.S. Army has restored order and is repopulating the quarantined city, when a carrier of the Rage virus enters London and unknowingly re-ignites the spread of the deadly infection, this time more dangerous than ever.

Juan Carlos Fresnadillo is directing the film, from a script by Rowan Joffe.

The Hills Have Eyes II: Due in March 2007
A group of National Guard trainees find themselves battling a vicious family of mutants on their last day of training in the desert. 

The Hills Have Eyes II is directed by Martin Weisz, with a script by Wes Craven and his son Jonathan Craven.

Revenge of the Nerds: Due in 2007
A remake of the 1984 comedy about a group of outcasts who form their own college fraternity, to compete with a bullying football frat that dominates campus. Chris Marquette and Katie Cassidy are among the stars.

Filming begins October 12, for the Kyle Newman directed movie.
