New images from Avatar hit the net

Spoiler TV has posted some amazing high-res photos from James Cameron’s Avatar, due in theaters on December 18th.

The new shots are the best looks yet at Na’vi warrior Neytiri (Zoe Saldana), as well as new views of Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Sam Worthington and Joel Moore.

Avatar is the story of a former Marine who finds himself thrust into hostilities on an alien planet. As an “avatar” he finds himself torn between two worlds in a desperate fight for his own survival and that of the indigenous population.
