John Travolta and Robert De Niro go head to head in Killing Season

Deep in the Appalachian mountains, a reclusive American military veteran (Robert De Niro) and a European tourist (John Travolta) strike up an unlikely friendship. But when the tourist’s true intentions come to light, what follows is a tense battle across some of America’s most forbidding landscape proving the old adage: the purest form of war is one-on-one.

Killing Season tells the story of two veterans of the Bosnian War, one American (Robert De Niro), one Serbian (John Travolta), who clash in the remote Rocky Mountain wilderness. The drama begins when Emil Kovac (Travolta), a former Serbian soldier, seeks out Benjamin Ford (De Niro), hoping to settle an old score. What follows is a cat-and-mouse game in which Ford and Kovac fight their own personal World War III, with battles both physical and psychological.

Millennium Entertainment will release Killing Season On Demand and in theaters on July 12, 2013. The film also stars Milo Ventimiglia and Elizabeth Olin.
