Scarlett Johansson looking to join Matt Damon in Cameron Crowe’s ‘Zoo’

Scarlett Johansson is in final talks to star opposite Matt Damon in the Cameron Crowe true-life drama We Bought a Zoo, THR reports.

We Bought a Zoo is based on a memoir by Benjamin Mee, who used his life savings to buy a dilapidated zoo on the English countryside, filled with 200 exotic animals, both facing destruction. Mee and his children, had to balance caring for his wife, who was dying of brain cancer, with dealing with escaped tigers, raising endangered animals, working with an eclectic skeleton crew and readying the zoo for reopening.

Damon is attached to play Mee, and Johansson will play Mee’s wife, the grounded one in the relationship, who will be seen in flashbacks.
