Noah Wyle, Moon Bloodgood and sci-fi show Falling Skies cast to invade New York Comic-Con 2010

Just found some additional New York Comic-Con 2010 news. MediumAtLarge revealed that Noah Wyle, Moon Bloodgood and writer Mark Verheiden, from TNT’s upcoming sci-fi series Falling Skies, will be at New York Comic-Con on Saturday from 4-5 PM, signing autographs at the Dark Horse Booth.

In Falling Skies, which premieres in 2011, Wyle plays Tom Mason, a former college professor and leader of a group of soldiers and civilians engaged in a pitched battle against an invading alien force. Moon Bloodgood co-stars as Anne Glass, a therapist who works with the surviving children to help them cope with the traumatic situation. Falling Skies also stars Drew Roy as Hal and Maxim Knight as Matt, Tom’s two sons, as well as Seychelle Gabriel as Lourdes, an orphaned teenager who helps run the group’s commissary.

Noah Wyle is best known for his role as Dr. John Carter on ER, during which he received five Emmy and three Golden Globe nominations.

In addition to her role as Anne Glass in Falling Skies, Moon Bloodgood can next be seen in the indie film Beautiful Boy, which is set to premiere at the Toronto Film Festival, and alongside Dwayne Johnson and Billy Bob Thornton in the George Tillman Jr. revenge thriller Faster.

Mark Verheiden – co-executive producer and writer for Falling Skies – was previously a writer and co-executive producer on Battlestar Galactica. He was also a consulting producer and writer for seasons three and four of Heroes and writer and co-executive producer for Smallville.
