Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival chooses themes of travel and adventure for 2010

The principal genre film festival in Asia, Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival (PiFan) kicks off its 11 days of movie mayhem on July 15th, and runs through the 25th. Young Bin Kim is this year’s festival director.

With this year’s theme being an “Up and Coming Genre Explorer Travelling to a World of Love, Fantasy, and Adventures”, PiFan aims to discover a new future of genre films through the works of fresh blood directors with ingenious ideas and dynamic minds. Known as the buzz-worthy genre film fest in Asia, PiFan will further reinforce its status as one of the three preeminent global fantastic film festivals with a careful mix of much talked about movies, along with challenging indie spirits.

PiFan, becoming synonymous with an exciting and fantastic summer to devoted cinephiles and audiences, will hold its 14th annual festival for the 11 days at the heart of the district of Bucheon.
