Speaking of post-apocalyptic movies, the trailer for The Road, based on Cormac McCarthy’s (No Country for Old Men) novel, has been released. The John Hillcoat-directed (The Proposition) film will finally be released on October 16, 2009, after sitting on the shelf for a bit.
The Road stars Viggo Mortensen, Robert Duvall, Charlize Theron, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Garret Dillahunt, in a tale of a man and his son trying to survive by any means possible, in a post-apocalyptic world.
