Check out the live action Blood: The Last Vampire teaser trailer

The teaser trailer for Blood: The Last Vampire is online, and it looks good, although the video quality could be better. For the uninitiated, Blood: The Last Vampire follows the story of vampire and demon hunter Saya, who is part of a covert government agency in post-WWII Japan. She goes undercover in a military school to discover which one of her classmates is a demon, and winds up having to kick much ass to find out.

The film looks promising, and has Chris Nahon – who directed Jet Li in Kiss of the Dragon, and Jean Reno in the interesting French thriller L’Empire des loups (Empire of the Wolves) – at the helm.

Blood: The Last Vampire stars Gianna Jun, Liam Cunningham, Allison Miller, JJ Feild, Joey Anaya, Constantine Gregory, Koyuki, Masiela Lusha, Ailish OConnor and Andrew Pleavin.

The film hits theaters sometime in March of 2009.
