Take a road trip and win Fanboys movie prizes

To celebrate the release of Fanboys, producers of the film are sponsoring a great contest. I don’t know what the prizes are yet – but they should be pretty cool. Fanboys who take a road trip with their friends to any of the movie’s opening cities, have a chance to win prizes from the film. Fanboys, which happens to open on February 6, 2009, the same weekend as New York Comic-Con, follows some rabid Star Wars fans who travel to George Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch to steal an early copy of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.

The Kyle Newman-directed comedy stars Sam Huntington, Chris Marquette, Dan Fogler, Jay Baruchel, Kristen Bell, Thom Bishops, Charlie B. Brown, Ernest Cline, David Denman, Pell James, Jaime King, Rachel Klein, Danny Trejo, Clark Sanchez and Ethan Suplee as Harry Knowles, along with cameos by Jason Mewes, Seth Rogen, William Shatner, Kevin Smith. Fanboys also features an array of appearances by Star Wars alumni, including Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams and Ray Park.
