Rosario Dawson and Will Smith in Seven Pounds

The official version of the Seven Pounds trailer is now online. The movie follows Will Smith as he reteams with The Pursuit of Happyness director Gabriele Muccino and co-stars alongside Rosario Dawson, Woody Harrelson and Michael Ealy in a story centering on a guilt-ridden man (Smith), who is depressed about mistakes from his past, who inadvertently falls in love while attempting to make amends by helping seven strangers. Dawson plays one of the strangers and his love interest, who suffers from a serious heart condition. Harrelson portrays a motel attendant who becomes intrigued by his suicidal new tenant.

Seven Pounds will be in theaters this holiday season, on December 19, 2008.

POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT!
One synopsis I read online, indicated that Smith’s character, who is an IRS agent, is attempting to commit suicide for his past mistakes; however I can not confirm that aspect of the storyline.
