Set photos from Mark Millar’s Kick-Ass adaptation

SlashFilm got some exclusive behind-the-scenes photos from the Toronto film set of Matthew Vaughn’s adaptation of Mark Millar’s Kick-Ass graphic novel. According to the spy who shot the pics, the scene appears to be the opening segment of the film, which is due to be in theaters sometime in 2009.

Kick-Ass revolves around Dave Lizewski, an unnoticed high school student and comic book fan, who one day he makes a decision to become a super-hero even though he has no powers or training. The film stars Aaron Johnson, Nicolas Cage, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Mark Strong, Lyndsy Fonseca, Xander Berkeley, Clark Duke, Chloe Moretz, Omari Hardwick and Deborah Twiss.
