Mum & Dad going multimedia on release date |

According to The Hollywood Reporter, British indie distributor Revolver Entertainment will be testing the multiformat day-and-date format for the upcoming U.K. produced horror film Mum & Dad. Revolver will release the movie in theaters, on DVD, VOD, sell-through and for rental on December 26, 2008.

The company said it’s exploring a similar method of release for the film in the U.S., sometime in May 2009.

The Steven Sheil film revolves around a family that lives at the end of one of Heathrow Airport’s runways and live off whatever they scavenge from cargo holds, offices, hotels and a steady stream of transient workers who populate the airport’s soulless hub.
