Quantum of Solace full trailer released

The first full trailer for Quantum of Solace was released earlier today, and it looks hot. Bond 22 continues the high octane adventures of James Bond from Casino Royale (in fact it takes off about an hour after Royale ends). Betrayed by Vesper, the woman he loved, 007 fights the urge to make his latest mission personal. Pursuing his determination to uncover the truth, Bond and M (Judi Dench) interrogate Mr. White (Jesper Christensen) who reveals the organization which blackmailed Vesper is far more complex and dangerous than anyone had imagined (Can anyone say S.P.E.C.T.R.E.).**

Forensic intelligence links an MI6 traitor (played by Mathieu Amalric) to a bank account in Haiti where a case of mistaken identity introduces Bond to the beautiful but feisty Camille (Olga Kurylenko), a woman who has her own vendetta. Camille leads Bond straight to Dominic Greene, a ruthless business man and major force within the mysterious organisation, Quantum.

**Before anyone starts spreading bullshit rumors, I have no information that the mysterious organization revealed in Quantum of Solace is indeed S.P.E.C.T.R.E., which terrorized the globe…and Bond, in a number of early Bond movies. But they sure as hell sound like them. I hope they at least tip their hats to that villainous organization, whose criminals were second only to Auric Goldfinger, in terms of legendary Bond adversaries.

Film Fetish Trivia: S.P.E.C.T.R.E. is an acronym for SPecial Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion.
