The Book Standard reports that PZP Productions has announced plans to release its gay-sex film The DaVinci Load on May 19, the same day Ron Howard’s The Da Vinci Code, the film it parodies, is scheduled to hit theaters.
PZP head Peter Zaragoza told Gay Video News, “The DaVinci Load is our most ambitious and expensive film to date. The star, new discovery Sebastian Young, is a hot bad-boy with a large… and great charisma.”
The plot is loosely based on the Dan Brown novel. It suggests that DNA from Da Vinci’s own sperm has been found in the paint the artist used for his masterworks, and that the sperm is discovered to have supernatural powers.
“I love campy porn,” said Zaragoza, “so it was very hard for me to do this film without making it tongue-in-cheek. There is some serious shit in this film, including political commentary and even a couple of non-violent, cloak-and-dagger–style murders.”
