Sony Pictures has released the first teaser trailer for Skyfall, the 23rd installment of the EON Productions official James Bond franchise, this time directed by Sam Mendes (Road to Perdition, Revolutionary Road, Jarhead, American Beauty).
In Skyfall, James Bond’s (Daniel Craig) loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
Skyfall hits U.S. shores on November 9, 2012, starring Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, Bérénice Marlohe, Helen McCrory, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Ola Rapace, Tonia Sotiropoulou, Nichola Fynn, Rory Kinnear, Santi Scinelli, Michael G. Wilson, Tom Wu and Simon DeSilva. Ian Fleming’s signature character is brought to life this time by writers John Logan, Patrick Marber, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade.
