Seven minute preview and new trailer for Day the Earth Stood Still

Some of you may have already watched this 7 minute preview of The Day the Earth Stood Still remake. It gives many more story clues than the initial trailer, which has been playing on TV and attached to other films.

Scott Derrickson, who helmed The Exorcism of Emily Rose, is handling directing duties on DTESS, which will be in theaters on December 12th 2008. The film stars Keanu Reeves, Jennifer Connelly, Kathy Bates, Jaden Smith, Jon Hamm and Kyle Chandler.
