Paramount releases images and a bangin’ trailer for Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol

Paramount Pictures will release Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol in conventional and IMAX theaters on December 16, 2011. To make us even more impatient, they’ve put together a slam-bang trailer which is probably be attached to Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

Brad Bird takes the director reigns this time around, but J.J. Abrams will be producing the fourth Mission: Impossible film, with Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec writing the script based on a story Abrams wrote with them. The cast of the film includes Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Paula Patton, Vladimir Mashkov, Michael Nyqvist, Josh Holloway, Lea Seydoux and Anil Kapoor.
