Cool new poster for Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood… and would Mark Strong be a great James Bond villain or what?

ScreeningLog added a new poster for Ridley Scott’s upcoming reimagining of Robin Hood, which hits theaters on May 14, 2010.

Robin Hood features an all-star cast including Russell Crowe, Mark Strong, Matthew Macfadyen, Cate Blanchett, William Hurt, Danny Huston, Max von Sydow and Kevin Durand.

The film tells the story of an archer in the army of Richard Coeur de Lion, who fights against Norman invaders and becomes the legendary hero known as Robin Hood. Check out the poster below.

Lastly, this isn’t news, only supposition. Do you think Mark Strong, who plays the villainous Sir Godfrey in Robin Hood, would be a fierce James Bond villain? I just think he’d be a legendary criminal going against the super-agent.
