New York Tokyo is hosting a Tekken 6 release party – a celebration for the new game’s anticipated release. Spanning over a 14 year legacy, Tekken is among the world’s most recognizable gaming brands. The title franchise has sold over 32 million units to date. This event is the follow up to the Tekken 5 official release event in 2005 and the Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection tournament in 2007. The event will include large gaming screens and giveaways, with music by DJ Seoul, and a tournament lead by MC Aero.
The Tekken 6 release party and gaming tournament will take place on Thursday, October 29th, from 8-12PM, at the White Rabbit, located at 145 East Houston Street, New York City, New York.

Tekken 6 will be released on October 17, 2009 for the arcade, XBox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms, by ATARI.
