It looks like SONY Pictures’ Screen Gems imprint is investigating new vehicles of content and distribution. The production company has just released it’s first-ever online exclusive horror short, with the brand #ScreamGems attached to it.
The short takes place in a hospital, where a young girl has just awakened after a mysterious attack. Things go sideways from there as her inhuman attacker seems to return for round two. Blink was directed by Spenser Cohen (screenwriter The Expendables 4) from a script he co-wrote with Anna Halberg (Ballistic). The cast includes Sophie Thatcher (The Book of Boba Fett, Yellowjackets), Alicia Coppola (Shameless, National Treasure: Book of Secrets) and Scot Nery (Scary Movie V, Battle of Los Angeles).
