Does this Walking Dead Season 7 preview poster for San Diego Comic Con 2016 give away upcoming story plot? You be the judge

It’s just about that time of year again. A time when pop culture fanatics journey to San Diego, California for Comic Con International, wait on lines for hours, even days, at a time, all to get a glimpse of their favorite celebrities, filmmakers, comic creators, pop culture writers & artists, streaming personalities, and cosplay icons. During this year’s confab, AMC Television will again be unveiling previews of its upcoming shows (I’m a bit pissed about having to wait until 2017 for Colony), including Season 7 of The Walking Dead.

Today the show’s official blog released a digital rendition of AMC’s show poster for Comic-Con International: San Diego 2016. The Walking Dead Season 7 is still months away, but fans have been speculating about the group’s fate ever since a blood-drenched television screen marked the mysterious end of Season 6.

The released banner image below will appear on large display ads throughout the convention hall from July 21-24. The banner features series stars Steven Yeun (Glenn), Christian Serratos (Rosita), Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon), Danai Gurira (Michonne), Michael Cudlitz (Abraham), Lauren Cohan (Maggie), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan), Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes), Sonequa Martin-Green (Sasha), Ross Marquand (Aaron), Chandler Riggs (Carl), and Josh McDermitt (Eugene).

The Walking Dead San Diego Comic-Con 2016 panel is scheduled to take place on Friday, July 22nd at 1PM Pacific Time, in the legendary and cavernous Hall H. In addition, AMC will host a The Walking Dead-themed booth (#4237) on the Convention Center show floor, where fans can stop by to take photos of themselves in Negan’s infamous “lineup” from that bloody Season 6 finale.

The Walking Dead returns to AMC Television in October of 2016. Start licking your chops while you take a look at the banner, below.
