Details on the Madison County LA Screamfest premiere |

Madison County will make its world premiere during ScreamFest 2011, on Monday, October 17th, beginning at 8:45 PM.

Madison County, which was written and directed by Eric England, centers on a group of college kids that travel to a remote, mountain town aptly named Madison County, to interview the author of a tell-all book on the accounts of the grisly murders that happened in the town over two decades before. Upon their arrival, the author is nowhere to be found and the townspeople state that they haven’t seen him in years. They also deny that Damien Ewell, the notorious murderer, ever existed and that the murders ever happened.

The film stars Nick Principe, Katie Stegeman, Ace Marrero, Joanna Sotomura, James Cotten, Matt Mercer, Natalie Scheetz, Colley Bailey, Megan Elizabeth Bell, Adrienne Harrell and Marshall Yates.

ScreamFest takes place at the historic Grauman’s Chinese Theatre located at the Hollywood & Highland Center on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles.
