Marvel’s The Avengers continues the epic tale began in Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger. In The Avengers, the world’s greatest Super Heroes must assemble to pull the world back from the brink of disaster when an unexpected enemy threatens global security. This special New York Comic-Con 2011 presentation will feature never-before-seen footage and appearances by what are being described as special “surprise guests.” So which stars will it be: Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Tom Hiddleston, Jeremy Renner, Gwyneth Paltrow, Stellan Skarsgård, Cobie Smulders, Samuel L. Jackson, Paul Bettany, Mark Ruffalo, Clark Gregg, Lou Ferrigno, Jenny Agutter or Walter Perez?
The Avengers hits theaters on May 4, 2012, with cult fanboy filmmaker Joss Whedon at the helm. But first, the movie will have an extensive preview panel at New York Comic-Con 2011.
