Paramount Pictures has released the first real teaser trailer for J.J. Abrams next film, Super 8. Steven Spielberg is producing Super 8, which hits theaters on June 10, 2011, and stars Elle Fanning, Kyle Chandler, Amanda Michalka, Ron Eldard, Noah Emmerich, Glynn Turman, Gabriel Basso, Katie Lowes, Joel Courtney, Zach Mills, Marco Sanchez, Thomas F. Duffy, Ryan Lee, Riley Griffiths, James Hébert, Teri Clark, Graham Clarke, Bradley Bingham and Mason Steel Davis.
The story of Super 8 begins in the summer of 1979, when a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a “super 8” film and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth, which is described as something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.
