First image released from Tyler Perry’s latest film

For Colored Girls brings to the screen Ntozake Shange’s Obie Award-winning play, a poetic exploration of what is to be of color and a female in this world. The Tyler Perry film stars Anika Noni Rose, Kerry Washington, Janet Jackson, Kimberly Elise, Phylicia Rashad, Loretta Devine, Tessa Thompson and Thandie Newton in For Colored Girls.

For Colored Gilrs hits theaters on November 5, 2010.
