On Saturday, July 24th, from 5:00-6:00 p.m. the Dark Shadows comics and upcoming film will be celebrated with a panel discussing the past, present, and future of the series. Join series stars Jonathan Frid (Barnabas Collins, via special video appearance), Lara Parker (Angelique), Kathryn Leigh Scott (Maggie Evans/Josette), with Jim Pierson (Dark Shadows) and Daniel Herman (publisher, Hermes Press) for a discussion and Q&A session in Room 3.
The original Dark Shadows television show aired from 1966-1971 and starred Jonathan Frid as Barnabas Collins, patriarch of the wealthy Collins family of Collinsport, Maine – a family tormented by strange occurrences. Dark Shadows featured everything from vampires, to witches, to werewolves.
The Dark Shadows film is currently scheduled to be released sometime in 2011.
