Yahoo is running a giveaway promotion for the District 9 screening at Comic-Con, on their Twitter page @yahoomovies. But hurry, the contest ends tonight at midnight! The total giveaway includes 14 pairs of District 9 screening passes for this Thursday, July 23rd at 7:00pm at the Horton Plaza Theater in San Diego, CA.
Here are the rules:
The District 9 ticket giveaway ends 11:59 PM on July 20th or when the 14 pairs of screening passes have been given away. The Giveaway is only open to US residents 17 years or older with valid identification.
HOW TO ENTER: Respond to @yahoomovies with the answer to, “What’s the # to call to report suspicious activity during an MNU alert?”. No attempts to enter by other means will be accepted. Yahoo! is not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, garbled, unintelligible or misdirected responses, or for any errors or failures of any kind (including but not limited to human error) in the transmission, receipt, or processing of responses.
SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: The first four (4) user(s) that are US residents, who will be in San Diego on July 23rd to correctly reply to @yahoomovies with the answer to, “What’s the # to call to report suspicious activity during an MNU alert?” will receive a pair of screening passes and will be notified by Direct Message (DM).
The Neill Blomkamp-directed, Peter Jackson-produced film will be in theaters on August 14, 2009.
