Re-Animator director to stay at The House on the Borderland

Re-Animator director Stuart Gordon is circling an adaptation William Hope Hodgeson’s classic horror novel The House on the Borderland as his next project, according to Bloody Disgusting.

The book was first published in 1908, and takes place in an 1877 Irish fishing village, telling the tale of two friends on holiday at a house that borders another dimension – one with vicious monsters lurking about.

According to reports, Gordon was recently attached to the movie The Thing on the Doorstep, but that doesn’t seem to be going anywhere fast.
