Photos of Worthington as Perseus in Clash of the Titans

Warner Brothers has released images of Sam Worthington as Perseus in the upcoming Clash of the Titans remake, which originally appeared in Empire and Entertainment Weekly.

In the Louis Leterrier film, Perseus goes on a quest to save a princess and defeat Hades, the god of hell. Liam Neeson plays Zeus, the father of Perseus, and Ralph Fiennes will play Hades, ruler of the underworld, who aims to overtake Zeus and control the world. Mads Mikkelsen, Gemma Arterton and Alexa Davalos also star in the film, which is scheduled to be released in March 2010.

Clash of the Titans is a remake of the 1981 film that starred Harry Hamlin as Perseus and featured an all-star cast including Laurence Olivier, Claire Bloom and Maggie Smith.
