Family Guy headed to the big screen

That’s right – first The Simpsons – now Family Guy is getting the movie treatment.

While celebrating the 100th episode of American Dad, Seth MacFarlane revealed plans for a Family Guy movie, according to Wired. The Family Guy creator told the magazine that discussions with Fox have already taken place to bring the Griffins to the big screen.

“Fox wants it. We know what we want to do with it. It’s just a question of finding the time,” he said. “That’s why The Simpsons took so many years to do theirs. It wasn’t because they didn’t know what they wanted to do with it. They just couldn’t fit it into the schedule.”
