Director Shinobu Yaguchi’s (Waterboys, Swing Girls) latest film Happy Flight, will be screening for free tomorrow night in the Pittsburgh, PA area.
Yaguchi’s intent was to create a realistic, completely new film that covers all aspects of the aviation industry. The setting of the film takes place at an airport on a All Nippon Airways Boeing 747. The cast includes Seiichi Tanabe (Memories of Tomorrow, Honey and Clover) and Haruka Ayase (Cyborg She, The Magic Hour, and Ichi). The film was produced by Altamira Pictures (Shall We Dance?).
The screening takes place Thursday, February 5, 2009. Doors open at 6:15pm and the film starts at 7:00pm. Admission to the event is free.
