Battlestar hottie Kandyse McClure talks Children of the Corn remake

Battlestar Galactica’s Dualla a.k.a. Kandyse McClure, has wrapped that series, but is returning to the SCI FI Channel as the leading lady in the upcoming Children of the Corn remake, according to Sci-Fi Wire.

The new made-for-TV film is being called a “re-imagining” of the original, which was based on the Stephen King short story, and stars McClure as Vicky and David Anders from Heroes, as a married couple at a crossroads who wind up driving into the middle of nowhere and encounter some deeply strange and deadly kids among the corn rows of a small town.

The tele-movie is being written and directed by Donald P. Borchers, who also produced the original, and will premiere some time later this year on the network. Sci Fi Wire recently spoke with McClure about the project, and they’ve posted edited excerpts from the exclusive interview online.
